Expo Information
The first 500 students through the doors will get a “Goodie Bag” full of cool free stuff including heaps of product samples, discounts and ideas.
You will get to see the hottest formalwear worn by the top 8 winning schools students strutting their stuff on the catwalk to win $500 for their school.
Seminars
The Seminar room is a great way of getting extra information on Career paths, Safe Schoolies and Formal Tips; these talks are for 20 minutes and are situated at the back of the main exhibition hall. A timetable will be available on the day as to the businesses speaking.
There will be over 50 exhibitorsto see on the day selling out clearance stock, taking bookings for your first driving lessons, formals accessories, career & training choices to schoolies giving you all the info you need. You will even have the chance to try your hand at some fun virtual jobs.
We will also have some interactive sessions in the “seminar room’ giving you a try dress up, play up & grow up! So check out our seminar session timetable.
Clearance Centre
Make sure you come cashed up and ready to grab some bargains! There is going to be racks of dresses, suits, shoes, jewellery being sold off at unbelievable prices. There will not be ATM facilities available on site, so make sure you start tucking a few dollars away now ready to have some retail therapy! ATM’s are located along Wembly Road but the closest one is the petrol station at the corner right near the expo.
Prizes & Giveaways
Along with a huge swag of great sponsored prizes to give away throughout the day, you will have the chance to WIN the “Ultimate Formals Experience” prize pack!
It will incorporate everything you’re hanging out to get your hands on to make your school formal awesome. From outfits, to accessories, massages, to hire cars and photography, this will be a ‘the’ prize to win. Make sure you are there to collect your prize from Emily Jade & Mike on stage at 3.45pm.
30 Prizes in 30 days - 30 days before the expo we will give away a prize a day. You will need to SMS your name to XXXXX and we will text a winner a day. To claim your prize you must attend the High School Seniors & Formals Expo to claim your prize.
Competition Entry - Every student to the expo will receive an entry form into the “Ultimate Formals Experience” prize draw. To be eligible to enter they will be required to visit and record the 15 exhibitors with the special symbols. All completed entries will need to go into the barrel ready for the major prize at .45pm. The contact details collected through this competition will be made available to the companies the students have indicated they are wanting moer information.
One of you will go home completely setup for one very memorable school formal!
Tickets
Entry is $15 at the door.
Doors open at 9:30 and the expo finishes at 4pm.
Make sure you pick up your ticket either online, discounted at participating schools or at the door.
Want to order ticketsfor your school? Get on to your school captain, school principal or teachers and help make it happen. Once you’ve got the go ahead, get in touch with one of our event organisers to have them sent out.
Charity
Tails and Veils will be proudly donating part proceeds from ticket sales to the Matthew Stanley Foundation. $1 from every ticket sold will go to this very topical community organisation.
Venu Facilities
 Logan Entertainment Centre is conveniently located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, in the heart of south-east Queensland. It has parking facilities for over 500 vehicles, and is in close proximity to train and bus services, making it ideal for student access. The facility offers state-of-the-art event technology, kiosk facilities for exhibitors and visitors, and a great landscaped outdoor area. |
